Skills

The ability to work individually and with others.
Proficiency in writing and grammar.
Strong written communication skills.
Ability to evaluate writing in a variety of formats.
No partisan or ideological proclivities that would prevent an unbiased perception of the curriculum.
Experience in editing or design preferred, but not required.

Preference will be given towards those skilled in conducting research and citations in APA formatting.

Editors work with 3-4 policy writers per week in order to edit policy papers and provide feedback to all types of Policy Writers throughout the writing process. Editors may also be responsible for planning and assisting with YIP Educational Events.
