Fundraising Intern (Education)

Responsibilities include: Researching grants, foundations, organizations, etc. with missions that align with our work. Applying for grants and other funding opportunities based on research. Brainstorming new fundraising strategies. Collaborating with Education leadership on plans for short- and long-term funding needs. Attending regular fundraising team meetings‍‍.

- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills

- Ability to communicate professionally and promptly with potential donors

- Ability to pitch our department's mission in civics education

- Experience in outreach, partnerships, and/or advocacy preferred

- Fundraising/finance experience is helpful but not required
