Communications interns will look for opportunities to implement our curriculum and content. This includes outlining plans to target schools and community organizations, as well as pursuing civic education advocacy efforts.
Skills
The right applicant has...
- A demonstrated interest in collaborating with organizations to help implement YIP's materials.
- A passion for writing and research, and is willing to contribute those skills to YIP's content outreach efforts.
- The ability to communicate effectively and work with a variety of people -- whether that be other interns, collaborating organizations, students -- in order to increase the reach of YIP's civics education approach.
- A desire to bring new ideas to the table, particularly when it comes to facilitating meaningful partnerships.
